I mean I knew they were looking at buying but they are actually looking at a house tomorrow. He invited both my Mum and Dad to have a look at the place as well. It's at Shailer Park - not that that means much ... but it's pretty close to home. Bout 10 mins on the M1. It's walking distance to the bus interchange and the shopping centre.
5 bedrooms.
2 1/2 bathrooms.

OMG
Since I work for the Office of State Revenue I'm a little O.O about the price. 450 000 for a 5 bedroom house + study. Seems a bit dodgy. I'm all....make sure your contract is subject to pest and building inspections.
They were planning on renting out the other 2 bedrooms but I freaked out a bit...since they will lose their concession on the transfer duty if they 'dispose' of the property.
And no one cares about Duties legislation so......
BUT still....
Makes me feel blegh T____T I live at home. With my parents. I pay board. I'd like to move out but I can't afford a place by myself. And my friends - there are only two I would consider living with, cause i don't want to live with a stranger - and Anna lives on the coast with her cousin, since she works down there.... I work in the city....there is about an hour and a bit travel between on the highway - not viable. And Kat lives with her boyfriend most of the time so.......
