You know when sometimes you say something in all seriousness and it just comes out sounding so completely wrong T______T That happens to me a lot. I think the most reason example was on Thursday after netball; Kat and I were teasing Anna about her non-boyfriend and how everything was progressing and would he become a boyfriend soon or not?
I won't bore you to death with the lead in to the conversation - but really Anna likes Doug...Kat and I reckon Doug likes Anna but they keep fluffing around and its all awkward and I end up being caught in the middle of the awkwardness because Anna drags me along and I end up being a third wheel O_O But I went to say this:-
"Why don't you just jump on him"
but as I got near the end of that sentence I realised that could be misconstrued and so I tried to change it to
"Why don't you just jump on the wagon"
which really didn't make much sense *shrug*
what I ended up saying was....
"Why don't you just jump on his wang."
There was silence...and I was totally hoping that maybe that would just slide right by them. No such luck. They broke into peals of laughter. I was so embarrased. @.@
Then.... not two minutes later when they finally calmed down and we had resumed the conversation I said
"I'm sure he'd be up for that."
So much fail. They doubled over. I was all.....uh.whoops.
Um :/ Maybe some of that was lost in translation.....sorry T________T
