Long time no see
Heey faithful readers,
Like the title of this blog, I have not been here for a short while. The explanation, as cliché as it may be, is that I have been very busy. School gives me heavier loads of homework than ever, I work for my future and the rest of the time is spent writing, reading, watching, and being.
I suppose the biggest news I have is that I arranged a summer job! I'm going to work on a camping in France, with a friend, for 3 weeks. We'll be doing animation, which basically means entertaining the kids, for a few hours a day. The job sounds like pure heaven; of course, it's going to be hard considering neither of us has much experience with children, but it's a challenge, too.
Sinterklaas came and went and we're in the Christmas season now. To honour it, here is one of my personal favourites of Dutch Christmas songs (and I realize this is not in the least helpful to you):
Die flonkerende lichtjes vertellen een verhaal
Wat staat er in de sterren? Wat belooft dat allemaal?
Vrede op aarde, eind aan geweld?

Lots of other things have happened, but none that I can think of right now. Well, I'm starting to think about university now, and oy -- it's a lot of information. I'm still hesitating between several majors/minors and everything connected with those, even though I am quite sure of what university I want to study at (and, unlike the USA, it's not very hard to get into most universities, especially if they don't have numerus fixus). The problem is that my opinion keeps changing due to new information. Frankly, it's annoying.
There's not much more I wish to share right now, so au revoir for now!
