"He was with me for six years, and I am lost without him. The way he'd chirrup and squeak in the morning, his comfortable weight on my shoulder, even the way he shed on everything - I miss it all, and I don't know how to do without. He had so much personality, and I can't quite believe it's gone, just like that."

Ack! Are you seeing these in your friend's feed? I'm trying to be sneaky and posting things that'll be linked from something else, so I hope I'm not filling up your page with weirdness that's all out of context...

Edit: Note - I have never had a winged bunny. Or any kind of bunny. I just like making up weird critters. ;)

No, I have my friends'-list tracked, so it showed up in my inbox.

(I guess I can quit wondering why your bunny has wings? I am really glad you didn't actually lose a pet. Or I hope you didn't, anyway.)

ETA: Just saw your ETA -- yay! :)

The last pet I lost was Stranger, back in Spring, and you knew about that one. *hugs*

Yeah, this is just me playing around with extra bonus content for a story. There is no cause for alarm. The story just has some sad bits in it. ;)

I remember that, yeah. *hugs* It's just been, like, death month or something around LJ. :(

Yay for no cause for alarm! I can handle fictional sad bits.

On my friends' list there's a story, but no bits and pieces. There's this and another one in my inbox, and the story's not shown up yet but LJ is typically slow about notifications. I'm not actually sure how to go around that, but I can delete the bits and pieces without reading (any more of) them, if you like. :)

The story I have set to private, still, while I edit things in and tweak things a bit - you're welcome to read any and all of them as they show up. Consider yourself my unofficial "bonus story bit beta reader". ;)

For instance, you can let me know if any of the pictures don't show up. ;)

So far, so good! The alt text isn't showing on mouseover but is showing in the image info, and I think the mouseover thing is LJ's fault, it's not been happening on other people's journals either.

The Bridge to Terabithia conversation just sounds like one of those awkward things where someone decides to have an opinion on your personal taste even though it's got nothing to do with what they like. And you already know the Flutter one is working! :)

I see the rest of them now! They're adorable. :) I like the hint of frustration in the sticky-note one, and the very practical problem of what to do with an always-hungry mouse. And the story itself is lovely!

Woohoo! I'm juuuust about done. I... kind of got ambitious with this one. Heh. I keep finding more things to make and link and pictures to take or stuff to draw and... yeah. I think my creativity has just about reached the limits of my ability here (what with time being what it is - pesky time). I'm glad it's all hanging together well!

I added oooone last thing and called it done. Whew. Thanks for being my guinea pig / unintentional beta reader of the bonus material! :)

You're welcome! There's an image in each post, and it all does hang together nicely. :) I like it.
