There is a hidden garden in Fey Sessowyn, a secluded blue and green sparkling gem set behind the fortress of the Immortals, near the Guarded Way. In the center of this carefully tended glen, there is a pool of crystal clear water which feeds an ever-flowing stream. If you follow that stream, eventually you would come to the Sea of Sorrows, which leads into The Waters Deep, which once connected the many worlds. When there were many worlds to connect.
In the center of that little pool in that quiet place you will find the source for all that water: a silver cup stands on a small stone platform in the middle of the pool. It is the Cup of Woe, filled with all the tears shed by mortal and immortal kind alike for those lost to the ravages of time, lost to the fall of realms, lost in pain or lost in death. The tears are a mixture of bitter and sweet, salt and fresh. Though there is only one world left, some say the cup will always be overflowing, for there can be no surcease of sorrow for those who cannot die and do not forget.
