I did leave work early yesterday, when the rain turned to ice. Barely made it into my driveway. I think it was about 8 inches of snow and sleet. Not that much on the ground because of the rain. The streets and roads are still ice covered. Hopefully it will melt soon. High of 9 today. The wind chill never got above zero.
It's not a good start to the winter. I'm listening to a car spinning it's wheels at the stop sign at the corner.
I'm watching The King's Speech so I can record it. Forgot how uncomfortable and good it is.
