OK, so I know I haven't updated in a long time. But I had to post this.
Just to catch you up on current events, Debra (my girlfriend for those of you who don't know) broke her arm on November 15th. She had a plate and pins/screws put in the day before Thanksgiving. She was in a splint until this last Monday when she got her regular cast on.
OK, on with my frustration.
She is living at her mom's house, she and I planned for her to move in this month but circumstances are against us. She stayed here last week and went to her mom's on Sunday. She was planning on driving up this afternoon as she is able to do that now that she doesn't have the bulky splint on. However, she just called and is not feeling too good. She sounded exhausted and said she was feeling dizzy as well. I told her that she needed to rest and not to attempt driving up here unless she felt better.
She went Christmas shopping this morning and went home to unload before heading up. Well, nobody could be bothered to help her unload the car. So, she is physically tired. Also, there is nothing to eat there that doesn't require preparation that she cannot easily do and everybody else is seemingly only fixing themselves things to eat. Last, but not least, is the fact that nobody will help her get cleaned up or get dressed. At least when she was here or I stayed down there, she was able to shower or get dressed easily. It is not an easy proposition to get showered or even dressed with only one arm/hand.
It is frustrating for me as I cannot drive to go down and get her. I would in a heartbeat.
selfish people,
