(no subject)
I just learned yesterday that someone I knew back in Vermont when I lived there and was a Police Explorer got arrested. He'd been drinking and fired a shot gun in his parent's house. Nobody else was there and there was a stand off with the cops but he did surrender and is on a psych hold. He's been dealing with depression.
This brings the number up to 3 of people I thought really had it together that didn't really, at least not in the end.
First was a guy from one of my Boy Scout Troops. He died at 18 in a car accident. Yeah I'm now twice what his age was.
The second is someone I can never forgive. In my final Boy Scout troop to came out he was a pedophile. I'd still love to punch him in the face.
Third was the guy from Vermont.
Makes you think, huh?
