Generally good stuff
Finished up today with about 2000+ words -- 13 pages hand-written (11 pages is about 2000 words for me.) So the total for this month is:
12,000 / 30,000

Tomorrow I'll continue with chapter eight. I have no idea what I'm going to write next. But then again, I had no idea what I was going to write today. Yet the back brain provided some wonderful, very surprising stuff. I actually made myself cry today, writing one of those scenes. I took what that character feared the most, then did it to them. Only made it worse. And it's just going to continue to get worse for this character. I'm pushing them to an extreme, like I am with every other character.
This feels very different than any other novel I've ever done, though I've pushed characters before. It's more personal. And yet, at the same time, it feels so much bigger. There's so much more at stake here. It's making me so very, very happy.
