The power of the push

Mar 10, 2010 20:21

Yesterday wasn't the greatest day for me, emotionally. Today I feel pretty crappy physically.

However, I wrote both days. Before the big push I probably wouldn't have written either day. I didn't have a choice. I had to write. I didn't do a lot -- maybe only 30-45 minutes each day. It felt good, though, good to sink into the novel, into the world. I couldn't stay there long, my concentration is shot. I just tell myself every little bit helps. I probably won't be able to do much tomorrow either. I'm taking the red-eye into SF, training all day, then flying back home late. I plan on writing in the airport or on the airplane. Because there's no other choice. 100 days of rewrite.
