Never trust a ho.

3oh!3 seems a little D-baggish, but their "Don't Trust Me" song is totally infectious. I've been listening to it on repeat at work for several days now.

Speaking of hos, I went to a gay strip club last weekend. The Brian was in town and we had a lovely evening out in Denver. I've missed hanging out with him; he's one of my only friends who will indulge my deviant side, and we always have such gloriously frank conversations. Although the scantily clad men were not very sexy. Which works out, I suppose, since they were gay and I'm married.

I'm realizing more and more that the wedding fucked my life. Not the marriage, but the event itself. Sure, it was an awesome evening, but the strain it put on my life (and a few of my friendships) doesn't seem entirely worth 4 hours of amazing. But now it's over and I don't get a Mulligan, so I'll move on.

My unofficial New Year's resolution is to bake less. I haven't gained any weight since I went vegan, but I lazed my way into obesity prior to that and I'm not comfortable with that label whatsoever. And, since I'm pretty much incapable of working out more than a few times a week, the sugar consumption needs to go way, way down.

My new passport came in the mail today! It seems thicker and wider than my old one, randomly. My first stamp will be from Mexico, since I convinced Troy to be frivolous and blow his bonus on trip to Cozumel. We're going the first week of February, which I can't wait for given the crazy strong winds we've had today. I'm ready to sip a pina colada on the beach.

I'm reading "Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs" and I love it thus far. I want to be a pop culture commentator. But something tells me there might not be that much demand for people who want to write about the cultural archetypes found in the TGIF lineup. Maybe someday.
