Weekend happenings

Saturday
- Woke up and did some exercises. Haven't done any upper body stuff for over a week. Getting back on track.

- Planned out a play list and bought music for the first time in the past four years. Bought 17 songs from iTunes. Set up the billing through Paypal. Oddly enough, they've only charged me for the first two songs so far.
Songs, in particular order:
- The Greatest (Kenny Rogers)
- Youth Gone Wild (Skid Row)
- Princes of the Universe (Queen)
- I Don't Know What She Said (Blaine Larsen)
- Suds in the Bucket (Sara Evans)
- I Loved Her First (Heartland)
- American Soldier (Toby Keith)
- Lightning Crashes (Live)
- Cat's in the Cradle (Ugly Kid Joe)
- The Thunder Rolls (Garth Brooks)
- Still in Saigon (The Charlie Daniels Band)
- Live Like You Were Dying (Time McGraw)
- La Isla Bonita (Madonna)
- Fields of Gold (Sting)
- November Rain (Guns N' Roses)
- Your Wildest Dreams (Moody Blues)
- The Final Countdown (Europe)
I was in a melodramatic mood, I suppose. The order of the narrative could be improved. I am thinking about moving Still in Saigon up to be behind Lightning Crashes. I think that would make a bit more sense.

- Built my machine. Been putting this off for a while now, busy weekends and whatnot. Took me 5 hours to build and test, mostly due to confusion on my part. Had to remove the mobo twice to install the mounts for the heatsink. Should have taken out all the parts, read through the instructions, and planned first.

Sunday
Woke up with a massive headache. I think it was because I was working on the machine until 3 a.m. and that I was mostly naked for the entire process (hey, less clothing == less static). I had some food and went back to bed until 4 p.m. Got up and went shopping for a new monitor. I bought a 20% off Dell LCD coupon off ebay for a buck and ordered the 24". Cost me $685 total including tax and shipping. I am still thinking about the storage configurations. Currently I have two 160gb hdds in there. The mobo comes with two raid controllers, and I am tempted to take advantage of it. Watched some football and generally goofed off until 10, at which I called it an early night.
