Is it a construct of aging that birthdays just mean less to you as you grow older? Because when I was little, I couldn't properly imagine going through an entire day and forgetting that it was my birthday.

apparently that's more common when you're turning twenty-three

Happy belated, Lily. It is a construct of aging. I'm done having birthdays. So far as I'm concerned, 25 is the perfect age and I'm there; I don't want any more birthdays. :-P

Thanks, Kimberly. So twenty-five is when it stops? I just got to twenty-three. Good to know. :)

Twenty-five is where it stops for me lol

I don't know, if you're only 23, you're totally good, sweetie, seriously :)

You're welcome.

Hey, are you gonna come to the Valentine's Day party? That's where I'm breaking out the Drinking Jenga for the first time. You still in?

I wasn't planning on it, but if you're breaking out the Drinking Jenga, I just might. I'm not sure. Valentine's Day hasn't really been my thing since I'm here. What with James not being here and then Le I'll let you know?

Yeah totally. You really should come, it's gonna be a blast. Totally casual. I know it's the day before Valentine's Day but it's not like a party that requires you dress up or bring a date or anything - I've had that question asked, so I thought I'd nip it in the bud ;) I really hope you'll come!

Well the me getting a date would be a resounding no at this junction. Sort of lacking something essential there. I just have bad luck in these sorts of things. Maybe I'll feel particularly cheery that day.

Really? I have a friend, Felix...he's really a nice guy and he's not really liking the idea of going stag, I don't think. Do you know him? If you want a date, I bet I could pull the strings and hook you guys up :)

Yeah, I sort of have a long story past when it comes to relationships. And the man I love has been missing from Aternaville since I'be been here. I don't think I know a Felix, but he's not James if I end up showing up, I'd be more into going alone than with a date. No offense to your friend.

Oh, no it's cool, I think I just misunderstood where you were going with that. It's totally fine :) You should come, though, really. It'll be fun, I promise. And, like I said, I'm breaking out Drinking Jenga for it's official Aternaville debut. You don't wanna miss that, right?

Understandable. I'm not always as clear as I could be. That's very tempting.
