Chapter three of "In the Middle of a Dream (I hear you calling)" will be posted tomorrow. Fear not: I know pretty much exactly where I'm going with it.
Despite not-so-massive response (I'm impatient, and when has the response ever been massive? I have twelve friends) which I am attributing to my bad timing, being as I started posting awfully close to turkey day, I've got chapters outlined pretty far ahead. Some main problems I'm encountering are how the two halves of the story should fit together
We have Lee for whom everything is happening in realtime, and Kara, for whom it's happening in... not gonna say dreamtime, cause it's not, but... it's outside reality somehow. Also there is the problem of keeping sexual tension at the right level between Kara and Leoben. It ought to be simmering, not hissing and spitting like fat in a pan. Also also, there is the bigger problem of my not having a beta (or a sounding board-- in general I don't think I have too many unintentional grammatical slips, so beta-ing on the whole might be a little much) ...eh... just a reader to see it before everyone else, to make sure I'm not writing a big huge mother of a plothole into the middle of my fic.
In other news, DUDE. JEFF BUCKLEY OWNS MY SOUL. Suspect he always has. I'm so sad he's dead-- he is the greatest thing to ever happen to my ears (since Damon Albarn, who is thank-god not dead).
Also I know what I want for Christmas. Icons. Will ficletize for iconization?
