02JUL2010: Delheim Wine Farm and back to Fan Fest
After 2 days with no soccer, things were getting back into session today for the first quarter finals matches. We went to another Stellenbosch wine farm called Delheim for lunch and a wine tasting. From their we headed to the Cape Town Fan Fest to watch the surprising Brazil loss to Netherlands. It was crowded like a rock concert.
Afterwards, we went to a Tapas restaurant on Long St. called Fork that had very good food but ridiculously slow service. It took over 2 hours to get all of our food, which came incrementally. We were in the mood for some jazz or something but the whole city was on pause for the night to watch soccer, which was going into overtime (Uruguay v. Ghana). We headed home and watched the penalty shoot-out from there.
