WORK IS FUCKING RIDICULOUS.
I swear it just gets dumber and dumber as the days go by, and I have to do more and more work as it gets closer to me leaving...wtf?
I go in today, and OF COURSE the apple pie bagels are expiring...so that means 4 extra trays of those...plus 5 extra trays of chocolate chip. whatever, it pisses me off but since it happens every 3-4 days and i'm ALWAYS working when it happens, I'm over it.
So then at about 5:45 Marge calls and says she wont be in until 11 but she wanted to tell me before i left that they fired the other baker!! WTF!? Apparently "she was making too many costly mistakes." Seriously, they need to start hiring people with a brain. My job is NOT that hard...its not hard at all! They have gone through 4 bakers since I got hired and I have only worked there a little short of 2 months. I dont know what happened to 2 of them, then one quit bc she couldnt handle the basic math and didnt wanna be alone for 2 hours in the morning. GET SOME BALLS. I don't understand! So now I have to work friday and saturday when i was supposed to have them off, which is fine, its just stupid.
Then Marge tells me they started handing out muffin samples outside of blockbuster so I need to make 20 minis of each kind instead of 6. Ok, fine. But that means that the muffin batter runs out very quickly which means I have to make more....Well, yeah. First I made streusel bc the streusel always runs out the days the apple pie bagels expire bc my life is just like that. So I washed the mixer and ran out of double chocolate batter so i made that. then i ran out of cinnamon swirl so i washed the mixer again and made that. then...THERE WAS NO BLUEBERRY! AHHHHHHHHHH! i was like GOD DAMNIT. bc apparently they never taught the new baker(who just got fired) how to make batter so she would always leave me with none. so i had to make that. but since we were making 20 minis there werent enough trays so i had to put 4 cinn crumb on 5 diff trays to equal 20. and then ann comes over and is like we just got a muffin order for tomorrow morning (which means we make them today) yeah well, she was like "ill do it later though" since all the mini trays were full and we were gonna bake them soon. which im happy about...so she scooped the blueberry later and i just made the batter.
but we'll see what happens tomorrow. probably something else completely ridiculous and stupid like i have to make 50 minis or something...seriously. i thought they were gonna ask me to stand outside blockbuster but it doesnt open until after im gone LOL.
if anyone needs a job, can do basic math, and can work at 330 am...big apple bagels is hiring. and if they dont find anyone before i leave, they are FUCKED! and i dont even really care....lol is that bad?
