Have I told you guys about how I met Dez from Coal Chamber/ Devil Driver .. ? I don't think I did. Well...
The band was doing a meet and greet after their set so I was like almost first in line. And then when I met him, I told him about Caitlin and how much she loved him. And he hugged me and said he was sorry to hear that. ..And then after the meet and greet was over.. I told him about how we used a quote from him inside her memorial card. And he said he's lost alot of people close to him and he knows how much it sucks and you just have to learn from it and try to get past it. And then of course I was crying... it's fucking DEZ ! How is it that I should be the one meeting him when he was practically Caitlin's god. Ahhh.. but then he hugged me again and kissed me on the cheek.. that's right. He is like the coolest person ever. He actually took the time to listen to him and actually be sympathetic. And it doesn't matter if he cares; all I wanted to do was tell him she existed and she loved him a loooot. I didnt even know they were having a meet and greet. I had previously emailed the fox to see if someone was doing an interview if I could get them to say somthing. But holy shit, it turned out way better.
