Rantings
First off, how the hell do you put a damn picture in your user info page???!!! For the life of me, I can't figure the shit out. I'm not computer literate so someone should explain this to me!!!!
Picked up Joe after work today. Had a headache so I was a little crabby. I took a nap, though, which I didn't plan on doing. Slept for freaking two hours! Longer then I really wanted to. But I felt much better afterwards. I got up to cook dinner. Nothing spectular.
Nothing eventful really happened today. Work sucked. As usual. I've been driving the car to the job sites so I've been getting to leave earlier to pick up Joe from work. We've also been skipping lunch so we can get out earlier. One good thing about this job (electrician for Devane Electric) is that we do our own time cards! None of that punching into a machine...so yeah, sometimes we fib. Okay okay...so a lot more than sometimes. I was driving a company van but I ended up giving it back to my boss. The van is a PIECE OF SHIT! It's about a thousand years old...and has a mind of it's own. Personally, I think he should just junk the damn thing...but he still thinks it can run. Well, it is driveable...but not for long. I prefer to meet at the job site anyway because I can leave later and drive in AC. Thank god for AC in Florida where mugginess is 24/7 for free! Whoo-hoo! Go Florida!
Joe's watching the movie "Unleashed" right now. I've never even seen the preview for the damn movie (although, he insists I have) so I don't really have an interest in watching it. He went to Blockbuster by himself, so yeah, the two movies he got were action. We have the movie pass for Blockbuster...but it's like you have to be the EARLY in the morning to get the new releases when it first comes out. Well, we can't do that (of course) since we both work. It's hard to find new releases...but eh, what can you do? We just wait patiently for someone to return it...then snatch and run when we see it.
One day closer to 'MOVING OUT' of this piece of shit rental. And another day of no packing getting done! I am such a procrastinator. Joe doesn't help any...so I'm stuck packing up again! I should probably get used to it since we'll probably be moving a lot when Joe's in the Marines. Joe claims lifting our things take more work. *shrugs shoulders* I wouldn't know...I never do that. Somebody stopped by yesterday wanting to know if this place was the place that was going up for rent. I steered the guy in another direction. I know, bad Jackie, but I was just trying to save him the trouble of getting stuck with a crappy rental. The landlord NEVER fixes anything. Okay, granted, he has fixed a couple of things...after 7 months down the road. Whoo-hoo..yeah, great landlord. On top of that, the rent with up another 25 dollars. Yeah, I know 25 dollars doesn't sound a lot...but to the poor working class like me...25 dollars is like a gold mine! Of course I'm going to be bitchy about giving up 25 extra dollars a month to a house that seems to be falling apart...who wouldn't be? 25 dollars a month could go into our savings account for a down payment on a house of our own!!!
Okay, enough ranting for the day.
