So, it's raining. It went from 80something to 50something. Oh well, it's Oregon. I haven't been up to all that much lately. I've been staying home with the dogs at the request of my parents, but soon enough I'll get a job, but the whole not having a car thing is in the way. Anyway, that's been interesting. Spending my days with two German Shepherds is always an interesting experience. But hey, they are good entertainment. :-)
I've been on a baking and cooking spree. It was Peanut Butter cups earlier, then it was bread, and yesterday it was an angel food cake. I need to come up with something else to make. Anyone have suggestions? Cooking is always good, and since my function at home is currently a housekeeper, it works.
Is it sad that one of the things I'm looking forward to most is at the end of summer? My neice, Ash, is counting down until we all go out for the vacation. She's as excited as we are. I think that seeing the family, going rafting and generally hanging out with them will be good.
