Happy Easter! I hope everyone got a little candy. :-)
So, I talked to my parents today and this year my mom and I are actually going to Minnesota in August. :-) I'm totally excited because I'll get to see my cousins, my aunt, my awesome uncles, and the grandparents. My uncle says that if there is the right amount of water in the Root River, we'll take our family rafting trip. By rafting I mean we get a huge ass raft and float down the river over the course of a day. There's no rapids, so it's not like Oregon, but we have a ton of fun. I'll get to see Lee's new house and hang out with the family. Basically, my mom and I are crazy excited and we'll be out there with Shaun, Scott and Ashleey. My uncle in Baltimore is invited, so it'll be a huge party, Gilbert style.
My cousin Evan totally got busted for being in a park after hours. It was hilarious because everyone expected that he'd have been caught doing pot or drinking, but he and two friends were out wandering around the park, which has a huge ski jump at it, and just hanging out. It's totally funny if you know anything about my mom's family.
It might be a touch late, but Spring Break was awesome. Mt. Bachelor and Sunriver were both amazing and it was a ton of fun. The Barretts were a bunch of fun, even if Cathy was a total psycho at night. He he he, Jewels will get it. It was totally worth the time and we had a blast. :-)
