I am reading all my entries from when Lil was a newborn and going, holy crap, in a few months i'm going to have another one of them.
It's just starting to hit us now that she's kicking away and coming more into being.
Everytime I sing to her she rocks and rolls, wow, another sweet girl child.
Fabulously terrifying and wonderful.
Today was Rune's 4th birthday (the oldest daughter of Alice aka
apposite_ish) and we all celebrated at the park.
It was a great day!
Danny and I are great at socialising in small groups but we tend to be very awkward and uncomfortable at large gatherings and spend most of our time together.
Lil seems to have picked up on this and spends much of her time on the periphery of large groups just watching.
However, small groups she just jumps right into.
Is it a bad thing that she has picked up some of my social retardness? I've passed it on to both Danny and Lilith, maybe it's catching.
Talked to Chris (Alice's husband) quite alot today, he's a good guy, I like him.
Alice wrote a song about Lil and played it on guitar, it was fabulous, she's so talented and a sweetie.
I love that I have such an awesome, intelligent, strong, caring, funny, cool friend who is such a great mama in my life and her gorgeous daughters.
We have had a beautiful lazy weekend, on Friday we went out for dinner and to the movies while Mum watched Lil.
Then woke up and had delicious morning sex and ate pancakes followed by a trip to the open range zoo.
Lilith loved the zebras, they are her latest zoo obsession.
I'm torn about visiting the zoo, I hate animals being kept in captivity but at the same time Danny has made me feel bad not letting Lil go and see the amazing animals.
I just think it might be nicer to see them in their natural habitat as opposed to Werribee.
Though I like the work they do attempting to save endangered animals.
Last night there was much sex, chocolate, corn chips and a ridiculously old season of the Amazing Race.
I have always hated reality television but Danny has me hooked.
Does anyone on my friendslist watch the Amazing Race? or Grey's Anatomy?
We don't even have television, heh, the internet has everything.
I like not having tv because we never just turn it on for the hell of it.
We won't watch anything for months and then we get hooked on a show, get every season on dvd, watch the entire thing together and it's fun.
We've been talking alot lately about gender, I want to hear any big thoughts, opinions and judgements on different things to do with gender...
Dazzle me people.
I have to go to bed now because just as I was telling everyone that Lil is finally sleeping through the night she's been awake and crying on and off tonight and i've spent most of the night in her bed in a death grip hug with her crying in my ear.
I'm a bit worried because she won't tell me why she's crying, whether she's just feeling as bit sad or whether something specific is wrong.
