Bliss and future flying
The past few days have been bliss!
Ditto and I spent the whole weekend together - just like most weekends at the moment, but without the pit stop at home to change and check in heheh! Seen as we've spent the past few weekends out and about, going on bowling and arcade dates, catching up with friends and getting home very late, we decided to have a cosy weekend indoors. It's great to feel so comfortable with someone when we're out or snuggled up under the duvet... You'd think that spending hours on the phone each evening in the week would leave us with nothing to say to each other for two days straight, but no. We've still got stuff to say, and things to make each other laugh! I think I'm starting to slip... actually... I don't want to say what I think might be happening because I'll jinx it and something will go wrong.
But let's just say I have a suspicion that I might be slipping and will then eventually, perhaps begin to fall... very fast.
Fantastic - it's about bloody time!
By the way, I'm going to Maryland / DC on Wednesday, so we won't be seeing each other for two weeks. I fly back on Thursday the following week, but with it being a working week, he won't be free till Friday. It's going to be weird when Friday comes around and I don't get to jump in to his car and get rocketed down the motorway at the speed of light to some new and exciting date! He's already told me that he's going to miss me the whole time, especially with not even being able to call each other either. (we're not millionaires, so international mobile calls are going to cost a bomb and a half!).
Today was my first official day of a two week break from work - it's been great! I got to lie in until 9.10 this morning and slowly make my way from PJ'd and dozy to fully dressed and out shopping for "holiday stuff" in the afternoon *{^_^}* I've got a hair appointment at lunchtime tomorrow too - I'm getting a new style on my head because I'm sick of the "Lily Allen" comments I've been getting for the past two years! I don't look like her, and no, I most certainly did NOT grow my hair four years ago in anticipation that she'd eventually get a hair cut exactly like mine!!
I'm dead excited about the hair cut, and the flight to the US on Wednesday! It only hit me this afternoon as i was meandering around Sluff... Only down side is that it's going to be just as cold there as it is here! Dammit! I wait flipping ages to go somewhere exciting again and I choose to go when it's winter!
The reason I'm going btw, is because mum's cousin has a daughter who's getting married and I'm going with her and my brother Stickman. We've not been anywhere together for 7 years when we went to Greece for a week! It will be good to get away and do the family thing again. Just the three of us... it's not been that way for reasons upon reasons for... oh about 6 years now! I hope it goes well... (o_O).
There's the rundown of life this past few days or so... hope it gave some sort of enlightenment so you sleep soundly tonight, knowing the ins and outs of what I've been doing!
