Beth Ditto has such a seriously amazing voice. And Hannah Blylie, I think I'm half smitten with her. <3 God, they're a great band. I haven't seen the Jools performance, but I'll keep a lookout---we get loads of reruns of JH, on a few different stations. BBC America, obviously, but also Ovation (an arts station) and Palladia (it's an HD-only MTV-run music [gasp!] station that focuses on live performances). I like JH a lot. Even if the performers aren't necessarily always people I'm into, that show coaxes some amazing performances out of them. KT Tunstall, f'rinstance, I think now I'd quite like seeing live due to her performance on that show. But on recordings, she's just engineered so slick and smooth that there's no interest for me.

Ah, off-topic again. Sorry. D: I'm kind of jealous of you. I've been wanting to write some good porn for ages, only I've had a bit of writer's block about it. At least I've been able to do the writing what pays my bills. *sigh* Wah, wah, wah, I know...little violins. XD
