David gave an A+++ performance in the, uh, 'surprising talents' sketches, holy fuck. (I may or may not have had a brief ovary exploding moment at his mock-innocent 'what?' in the second sketch. David's sex voice is surprisingly sexy. Redundant sentence is redundant.) And Robert! Robert's "do you?" to the sentence "I love women" was fucking GOLD. Also, the vaudevillian expression at the end was brilliant.
Sadly, I continue to hate almost all other recurring sketches, which means that 50% of an episode is always going to bore, aggravate, or, at the very least, perplex me. I quite like some of their oneshots, especially those that have a more satirical bent. On the whole, though, I pretty much only adore the sketches where they're 'being themselves'. The meta amuses me greatly. Everything else does not.
