Everybody wants the same thing...

My credit union is the best thing ever. I applied for a loan on Monday and have it in my hot little hands now. Which means that massive shopping list of required essentials for going up North is actually going to get fulfilled.

There are some things I have to admit... )

I think your largest neurosis... hmpf January 17 2008, 11:50:30 UTC
is expecting yourself to be more than human, in some ways. You constantly seem to be beating yourself up for, essentially, not being a saint. Maybe you should go a bit easier on yourself sometimes?

(Of course, I'm only going by what I've seen in your LJ; I don't really know you in RL, so...)

I don't constantly beat myself up, honest. You're just thankfully spared from the "Loz is great, Loz is great, EL OH ZE-ED, Loz is great" posts, because I realised early on just how obnoxious they are.

But I guess I do want to be more than human, sometimes.

"Loz is great, Loz is great, EL OH ZE-ED, Loz is great"

I always liked it when you were in that kind of mood. :D

almost everyone can be more than they know. it's youth and inexperience that makes us shallow, self-absorbed, pleasure-seekers. intelligent people with a lot to give, like you, will always rise to the top and surprise even themselves with their deep wells.

i have faith in you.

The fact you could write something like this should be all the summation you need of the fact that you can be more than you know. If you know all this about yourself, well, you're better situated to reach beyond. :)

*hugs*

Loz stop being a nobhead!

I live for pleasure. Who doesn't, given half a chance?

No-one who is truly shallow would have got anywhere near signing up for this adventure. You WILL be brilliant. This WILL be brilliant. On the days where it's not quite so brilliant remember what Winston Churchill said: When you're going through hell keep going!

And I know by now you're probably already laughing at yourself again and that's part of what makes you brilliant already.

I guess I can try to stop being a nob, for a while. It might take some effort.

But, I had to make this post, so that when I'm rocking like a rocking thing I can say, "hey, there was a time I was insecure."

I guess I can try to stop being a nob, for a while. It might take some effort. If you figure out how petal, would you make a post about that? It's high time I learned myself!

Look at that you're psychic too! :D My other thought was "I'm glad Loz made this post because we'll be able to quote it and make Pffffft! noises at her when she's declared Pharoah of Osiris 4...
