Yes! They are complete equals --- I mean, Gene calls Sam his inferior, but he also says stuff like "this is our team", so... God, I love them.

And it's a very good start to my evening, thank you! I do like Top!Sam, partly because I think he would insist more often than tends to get written.

They work in synchronisation, both extremely vocal. I don't know if it's the recent spate of "Gene talking dirty", but for me that is the sexiest line in the whole fic.
