Friday on my mind...
I had no sleep last night - absolutely none. My tooth decided that this was the ideal time to get up to its old tricks and was throbbing and itching all night. Suffice to say, I feel like crap warmed up. I got pain medication and tooth drops this afternoon, but I may have to finally go to the dentist on this one to have it pulled and I cannot afford it.
My parents and brother are coming up again tonight. I am so looking forward to seeing them, after the week I've had.
One thing I don't think I've mentioned near enough is just how amazing the staff at my school are. They are so supportive, friendly and understanding. My principal is a winner, she's so sweet. And not just sweet, but, you know, great at her job. I said that Mum was coming and she said she had been going to drop in on me, to see how I was, but now that my real mother would be there, she didn't feel she had to. ♥ I love it when people tease me good naturedly.
And, uh, I guess that's one of the things that teaching has shown me: not all people suck, even offline. My faith in humanity is restored.
