I'm watching The Yellow House and it's not really a spoiler to say that there's an infamous John Simm crying scene. It shouldn't amuse me as much as it does. I really don't know how he does it. His ability to bring tears to his eyes within three seconds is terrifying.
As a production, I am so far enjoying it, although there are some elements I'd like to see more of and others I'd like to see less of. The music is absolutely brilliant. This further confirms that John is a fantastic actor. There is nothing of Sam in this performance. Nothing of Cal. Nothing of Phil. Or Stuart. Or Jip. Or, Mr Saxon, hopefully.
