Loz! Oh, Internet fiance of mine. You naughty thing! I knew you had this in you, despite all your protests to the contrary. How wonderful. How wonderfuly awkward. Such a brilliant twist on the typical idealized love scenes that everyone else writes. This was sweet, and hot, but so realistic. And funny, too (I'm now picturing Annie and her hair caught in Sam's zip). Man, I heart this to death.

This is terrific! The awkwardness of the mechanics makes it so realistic--sex is what convinces me that God has a sense of humor. I was a little distracted by that line about wishing he had a box, since you'd already said love could not be put in one, but if this is your first try I want to read what you write after a little practice!

You picked up on that! That was deliberate. Sam is always saying he thinks one thing and then he really thinks another. For instance, he says he'll never believe 1973 is real, but he always acts as if it is. He's constantly contradicting himself.

Man that was hot. And brilliant. That was like meaningful hottness beyond anything I've ever read. Way better than the last Nip Tuck episode's scene. You should write for them. ;)

Excellent! Real sex is awkward and hot in equal measures, and this captures it so perfectly. Also, loved the afterwards dialogue especially. Annie's confidence and their shared sense of humor . . .

Though as I am currently mulling my first Sam/Annie porn, I'm not sure I should thank you for raising the bar. ;-)
