Big fandoms are startling.

There are Sherlock stories pushing the 200,000 mark and even a drabble there will get a 1,000 hits.

I really love it as it's such an indicator of how large the secret army of fandom really is.

But it's not the hits so much as people actually enjoying it for me. I mean, I know, I know that, actually, in relative terms, I used to get the same attention in LoM fandom. Relatively. But it's not the same as 1000 individual kudos, it's just not.

Ha, I'm not really surprised - you got referenced in posts by the Derek/Stiles tumblr and by gyzym - but congrats! It's a fantastic fic that deserves all the love and attention it's gotten.

Thank you. I don't really know where it came from? I mean, I know what it was inspired by, but, you know, I'm usually a 1500-3000 word fic writer who doesn't manage much plot. So. The very fact I managed a story in the first place was a miracle. But then to have people like it too? AMAZEMENT.

Oh, thank you. Honestly, it's not the very best thing I've ever written, but it fulfilled a whole bunch of my own narrative kinks.
