If only for the fact that I have to get up early tomorrow. I don't regret my job or where I am at the moment which is good, but I am hoping for a change come this fall. If not, then fine - it won't take me as long to get adjusted to a new place, but its going to be hard to afford to keep the job I have now even though I like it.

I am currently eating peanut M&Ms, I'm in my pjs, charging my iPod, feeling the warmth from my heater and thinking about the past 24 hours. I had a great weekend. I decided last minute to head to Farmington to visit some people. I had been thinking about it as a possibility for awhile and then just decided what the hell and went. Since plans fell through on going to NH to join Meg & crew for a neat neat weekend, I decided to be random and just do SOMETHING outside of my house. Almost slightly regretting it now because I've come home and I'm like oh my god, when can I get my own place? Ha. But yeah it was a great weekend for the following reasons:

Had dinner with Katie & Everett and Kristen & Corey at the Granary which was really good and brought back a lot of memories, played bingo with Amanda, Sara & Kyle at the "Landing" (formerly known as the Latte Landing, and I'm quite pissed its different because thats LAME) and totally won a microfleece blanket, went back to visit Carly and her boyfriend who is a very nice chap, and then went down to Sara's apartment to then decide that since Amanda was hungry that we'd go to the Granary (ha) to get something to eat/drink. So my second trip to the Granary was full of brownie pie, a few drinks and some pool which I sucked at as usual. We also saw Meagan Cyr and Jen Skye from upstairs which were both nice surprises. Then back at the ranch...we decided to play this game "Boxers or Briefs" which was quite funny. The game could be insulting if you played with the wrong people (aka no sense of humor) but the four of us had a really great time with it. Then Amanda and I camped out in the living room and talked for almost 2 hours about just about everything. It was really nice to talk to her, and it only made me miss being in college more. The next morning, Amanda and I went to breakfast at the Homestead where Sara is working and I had actually never been in all my four years at UMF. It was pretty good, but nothing beats Quad M's. On the way home I got to stop at Katie's parents house and pick up my bridesmaids dress (which is too big - HA!) and after talking to her mom for a good 45 minutes, I continued on my way home to stop in Brewer to see Kassi for a second since I haven't seen her since this summer. Thinking about going down to Boston for a day over my break, but we'll see. So all in all, it was a fantastic weekend and I'm so glad that I went. I needed a change of pace and I needed to see those people!!

Plus I got to ride both ways by myself which was some really good "me" time. I enjoy that. A lot. Don't get it much lately. My only me time is really when I'm sleeping. And that doesn't give me much opportunity to reflect on things. Or so I think...

In other news, I'm having my tonsils out. For anyone whose ever been to a sleepover with me, you're probably screaming WHY NOT 15 YEARS AGO. Yes, its way past overdue and I'm quite tired of all of the problems I've had to deal with, so I'm excited. On the other hand, I have to do it over a school break and thus there will be no fun for me during that break. There are a few projects that I have in mind that I'm hoping to get done during that time, so hopefully I'll be able to do that.

Wow I kinda want a Dunkin Donuts White Hot Chocolate right now.

Well I guess thats pretty much all for now. I haven't updated with a REAL entry since last summer so I basically figured I was due time. Plus I felt like it. Now I'm off to play some Free Cell because I'm cool like that. Totally thinking about going to bed early and reading... we shall see.
