Random memory while watching "Toy Story 2" on TV tonight ...

Dear Hubby - Johnny is 1/2 Japanese and over the years has taught me a bit of the language. To say "you're welcome" in Japanese is "Dou itashi mashite" - which sounds like; "dough-e tashi maush tae". When it's taught to English speakers, it's taught that the phrase sounds similar to "don't touch my mustache"

When the kids were little we took them to a packed theater to see Toy Story 2. If you remember the plot an evil toy collector has 'stolen' Woody to sell to a toy museum in Japan.

At one point in the movie the evil toy collector is talking to the Japanese buyer on the telephone and at the end of the conversation the evil guy yells into the phone, "Yeah, yeah! Don't touch my mustache!"

Well Johnny and I burst out laughing ... and quickly realize > with crickets chirping in background< no one else is laughing. Several people have turned around and are staring at us.

We look at each other, grin, and make like nothing happened. It was a nice "you n' me" moment.
