Nathaniel had showered in the room he shares with Asher before braiding his hair and dressing. He slips into the room, frowning that Jason isn't up yet, and he goes to the bed and turns on a light.

"Jason, I know you're awake. Why aren't you dressed and ready?" he asks.

Jason pulls the pillow tighter around his head.

"Not today," is his muffled mutter into the pillow. "Just leave me alone today."

Nathaniel's voice takes on a slight edge, something not often heard from the submissive wereleopard.

"Get up and get dressed. Two mile run today."

Jason doesn't respond aside from a small, sobbing moan.

He doesn't want to move.
He doesn't want to run.
He doesn't want to do anything.

Nathaniel reaches out and grasps the edge of the blankets and yanks.

"You need to get up. You need to keep busy," he insists.

The blanket pulls away easily, but Jason only curls in tighter on himself.

"I just want to sleep," he moans pathetically.

He decides to fight dirty.

"You want Moon to see you looking like you do? What happens if she comes to see you? Jean-Claude won't let you work the club looking like this, either. Sleep isn't an option at the moment. Running is, until we find out if we can use that stage in the club."

Jason cries out from under his pillow. "I don't fucking care: she can probably see it all anyway."

Not like they're dating or anything.

"I couldn't sleep. Just let me...rest today."

He slips off his running shoes and crawls into bed, laying down to face Jason. His hand reaches out, stroking the hair.

"She said she'd give me some if I asked for it..."

He wanted to ask so badly.
