It had been nearly a week since he'd been home, and still he hadn't performed any of his duties for Jean Claude. So when he felt the master vampire call him, he wasn't terribly concerned. Probably just checking in on him: Jean Claude seemed pretty worried about him when he came back and had offered some time off for him to recoup.
He'd been working steadily at the club, though it must have been a slow week, because he wasn't bringing in near what he was used to. Still, it was enough. He did a quick line and tucked his stash safely into his nightstand before heading down the hall. He knocked once at Jean Claude's door and slipped into the room.
"You wanted to see me?"
