[ she turns on the feed, running a hand through her hair as she prepares what she wants to say. ]It has come to my attention that there are quite a few different people here, more so, even, than when I was last here. I’m glad to see so many people can, and are, getting along in spite of it, or perhaps because of it. Really, we ought to be

But, seriously: ] How is this S.A.V.E. [ - "save" - ] going to help bring equality to all those who are undead and in possession of fangs? Are you militant or something?

S.P.E.W. and S.A.V.E. [ please get it right, people! ] If it informs people of what some vampires are doing, the good they are doing and how many of us are not being hurt because of them, I think it would be a good start to it. And no, I don't plan on bringing in any military or anything similar. That would rather defeat the point.

... Okay, this she can somewhat get behind. If it weren't for the loopholes she's seeing. Of course, the loophole is Angel-sized and very broody. But it's a good idea, nonetheless. She just wonders if people will care enough to listen. ]
And you're going to - what? Big Brother the vampires? Microchip them? [ Ha, Angel with a microchip. ] Some of the vampires I know aren't exactly good with words. Some of them can't even speak. And the ones who can't? Don't like to share.

No. I'm going to keep pushing for other people to understand that not all of them are evil creatures. If the ones you know of choose to do ill towards the rest of us, that's their problem. There are good vampires out there and if we don't all stick together - on this issue and just living together peacefully - Luceti won't be a decent place to live until we get home.

Out of curiousity, do you know any good vampires?

[ She's forgotten already about the elves. Poor things. ]

I did a lot of research, made badges, knit hats, did everything I could to free the house-elves since very few other people were willing to do it for me. It's a little more difficult here, as vampires aren't under the same 'rules' that house-elves are, so it's really a matter of changing opinions instead of laws.

[ Think of your reputation, Angel! Cordelia just wants him to have friends. What if she ends up on a mission or something tomorrow? She can't have him brooding in the dark. As insane as the idea is - honestly, she doesn't believe people will be receptive if the idea is forced on them - she can actually see the sense in it. And she likes it ( ... )

It isn't a guess to say that Cordelia wasn't taking any of this seriously. How was one going to change the opinions of many? People have had opinions on vampires for years - on the myths and on the actual living creatures that may exist in their worlds - and they haven't changed at all. But when Hermione explains about the elves - something foreign to Cordelia - she can actually see that this girl is serious. And she has to admire her for it. Slavery is one thing Cordelia never, ever wants to support, not after her experience in Pylea. ]
How many elves did you free?
[ ... ] Clothing isn't going to free vampires. Maybe something to stop the brooding and prevent them from wearing dark colours - [ Jab at you, Angel. ] - would help.

[ ... ] I know. [ pointed voice. ] That's why I suggested something else, something that would have a chance at getting people to stop this rubbish.
