[ Hermione's been thinking about the DA and what Xion talked to her about a few days ago. As far as she's concerned, it's high time the DA's started to get actively involved in Luceti. It's high time they became protectors and not just a secret society. So, for all you DA members (check the OOC post), she's looking out for you all to talk to you.

I wondered how many hero-types Luceti has right now.

'Hero-types'? [He doesn't think himself much of a hero-type, but.]

People who would do everything in their power to protect others.

Wouldn't everyone go that far for their friends? [And it still sounds foreign to him.]

That's what I would think. I would do anything for my friends and I know others who would do the same.

That's admirable, miss, even if it does sound like something out of a book. I know a friend of mine would fit your 'hero-type' perfectly. Strong and protecting and cool...

Sometimes you don't have much of a choice but to protect the people you care about. I've found more of those types of people here than I'd expected over the last year.

You didn't have a lot of them where you're from?

Not as many who were willing to risk everything to save lives. [Lookin' at you, Ministry.]

I see... And, um, about magic... If it were to protect my friends, then... I would. [He barely knows the magic he can already do so it wouldn't be any different.]

It seems many here would do everything they can to help those they're closest to, even going as far as to use something they're unfamiliar with. It's good to see.

It is. But... does a lot of bad stuff like that happen here a lot?

It only really happens during experiments and even then, most of them are more embarrassing than life-threatening.

How often are the experiments? [Even thinking about experiments makes his voice shake.]

Not as often now as they used to be, maybe every other month. [She feels bad now.] If you're really worried about them, write down what you can remember, and if something happens to you, you can always call for help. Luceti has many residents who are always happy to help where they can.
