I figured out how to translate spells across different types of magic. I've managed to use wind magic as a primitive sort of Disarming Charm.

That's what I've been doing all month up in my room. I just wondered if other magics could be changed, manipulated, using the laws of our own magic. So I've been working on how to change the casting of elemental magic so that it would resemble common spells, like the Disarming Charm or the Levitation Charm. I've got the first one figured out for wind and the second mostly works. Now I want to try it with other elements. It's just very different from our own style.
[She pauses for a breath and looks directly at him.] I think if we can really master this, it would be a good thing to teach other people. We could use it for protection, self-defense.

So you're re-inventing spells in order to make other people able to do the stuff we can with magic? [Harry feels incredibly, incredibly dumb at this realization.]
