[Has Emma ever enjoyed the days of December in England? How many winters there have gone without snow, and yet now! Now there finally is snow, so much that Blue Peter only just some time ago announced that over two thousand schools had shut down on this day, giving to all the school children an early start to their holidays.

Ah, the joys of a Christmas in England! Watching adaption after adaption of A Christmas Carol, the reruns of Top of the Pops! And who could forget the countless movies?

... This pie, apparently, though for good reason! It is a freshly baked pie still so very warm. No matter where Emma may be, no matter what type of Christmas she has experienced, there will be a pie near to her that gives off a smell of the apples inside. By this pie sits a knife, a fork, and a plate--and on the plate sits a cream-coloured envelope.

It's all very innocent. And British.]

[Well it does look a bit yummy, but she's going to run an assortment of detective charms all over it just to be sure it isn't poisoned.]

[No poison on this apple pie! Nothing is magical about the apple pie other than how delicious it smells. It even looks quite cosy next to the plate, fork, knife, and envelope!]

[And a quick glance around to be sure no one's going to yell at her for... eating a strange piece of pie. Then she picks up the fork and digs in.]

Mmmm... delicious! How'd this get here, I wonder...
