Well my grandpa was transfered out of the rehab center and into the nursing home today. According to my dad everything went as smooth as possible, all his stuff got there, they just have to assign him a wheelchair tomorrow that'll be his. Since my cousin was up last weekend I haven't seen him for a couple of weeks, but will go with my dad this ( Read more... )

My grandpa got moved from the hospital today into a rehab center. Which is a good sign in some ways - means there's no more tests, although no cause for his stroke was found. But hopefully with him being on some new meds another won't come. We're mostly worried about his arm but my dad said that tonight my grandpa said if he can't golf anymore ( ( Read more... )

So, tonight I spent about five hours, closer to five and a half, at the ER with my family. My grandpa had a mild stroke earlier this morning. No one found out about it til about three this afternoon when he called my dad to talk to him about something else. He's having some issues talking (slurred) and his right side is weaker.
