The good, the bad, and the weird
Just because my brain is a little jumbled I'm going to do this post just as the subject says, in bullet points :)
The good:
-Woke up this morning and actually didn't have the headache I've had since Friday morning.
-Found out the likelihood I'll get to go to Yaoi-Con in October is looking VERY promising.
The bad:
-I think my headache issues - which felt like a mixture of a migraine and allergies - might actually be related to my TMJ. Especially since this afternoon my left side of my jaw (which can I say I'm tired of being reminded my left side is the weaker side?) started seriously aching and hurting when I didn't do anything. I'm trying to do some heat pack therapy to that side of my jaw tonight to get the ache to go away.
-Weekend is already done and I feel like I didn't have it :( Stupid headache.
The weird:
-Tonight I went with my mom to pick up a cos-play outfit she was taking off someone's hands, we have a feeling it will get used in future Halloween decorating, and everything went fairly well. Had to fit the costume very carefully into the back seat of the car cause it's really big and bulky, but nothing was broken. We saw it as a success. Then we got home and realized that we'd have to push the costume out the opposite door than we got it in and would have to park the car on the street since my car was in the drive way. Okay, no problem. We do that and I get out of the car to open the passenger side and started making my way around the back of the car. Well...cause we went last minute to get the costume I went without putting on my sandals and just had on socks. As I'm walking I heard this weird hissing sound, started mentally wonder why our drip system for the sprinklers was running so late, then all I saw was this black shadow lunge at me. I jumped back and was looking at the ground and told my mom that "a pissed off reptile is hissing at me." Not being able to see anything we got the flashlight out of the glove box and found a very large very pissed off snake in our driveway all coiled up ready to pounce again. *face palm*
I don't know what kind of snake it is, I never heard a rattle or saw a rattle once we had the flashlight, but I'm considering myself lucky. Even though things could have been bad with or without shows. Needless to say though the snake is really lucky we didn't run it over parking the car since we did pull into the drive way a little before backing up and straightening out the car to be on the road, although the close call is probably why it was so mad. With me keeping a spot light on it my mom locked the car up and we went in the house. Since it was after 9pm and dark we figured the costume could stay in the car for the night and hopefully the snake will be gone tomorrow. If not we have a feeling we'll have to call someone just cause we don't know if it's poisonous or not. This is definitely a downside to living next to a field that is attached to a hill :P
And with that I think I'll wrap up this post. *snuggles flist* Hopefully this week I'll get my FMA litho hung and have something fun to post in the anime fandom realm :)
