Late night ramble
I'm heading off for bed here but before I do I kinda felt the urge to do a post. So I am :) Like most of my late night posts it'll probably jump from thing to thing, but most of you are used to it by now I would imagine.
-Work...work is...pretty unsure right now. Yesterday my department finally got a new manager, which we haven't had since May. I'm happy with the pick cause it's who's been acting as our manager for all these months, although it means we'll lose her with helping on front line things...and we might be losing another person. *face palm* We also started sales expectations as of yesterday. Let me just say...work is unsure, but I go there and do my job and go home. I'm looking forward to the 3 day weekend dcoming up after my shift tomorrow.
-I actually did one of those fandom friending meme's recently. It was an anime related one, managed to get 2 new friends. I'm hoping that'll help the feelings I get that when I talk anime I'm still just talking to myself.
-Tonight for some reason I looked at my icons I have uploaded on LJ and just kept going "wow...I have a lot I never use anymore." But then at the same time I'm hesitant getting rid of them. In a way I feel my icons are a representation of me as a whole as well as a slight progression. While I use a lot of my anime icons more than my "live people" all of it is a part of me. Anime just is in the higher priority cause it's what makes me happy. Hopefully other people feel the same about their user pics. Tonight though I did use an old one :)
-This week I rewatched the second season of Sons of Anarchy with my parents. The new season is starting on Tuesday night and I have to say...it's definitely a show that caught me off guard. I got into it last year when it was on tv a little into the season...then I had to play catch up with season one. But I can definitely blame my dad for it all :)
-And for my final ramble. Next Friday the new Resident Evil film comes out. I plan on going, naturally, and I'm actually going to pay to see it in 3D. I figure I might as well splurg a bit. The previews have looked promising to me, hell Wesker alone is looking better than the horror of Extinction, so I'm really hoping it will be good. I want it to be good so I'm not the bitter gamer movie fan anymore. I'm sure after I see it I'll ramble a bit ;)
