Lack of energy
So I know I haven't been posting all that much lately. I really can't explain it other than lately I feel like my energy has been really tapped. Which I'm really hoping will change since this coming Monday I'm starting my first "pro" poetry workshop. It's run online - which is a great thing for me. I really can't commute to Oakland which is where the professor lives. To be honest I'm worried about it but I hope that once the workshop starts I'll go into "workshop" mode and make it worth my money :)
In other news I've been watching a lot of anime since the three day weekend this past weekend. Watched some Darker Than Black, Honey & Clover, and Paradise Kiss - all of which are thanks to Netflix. And I finally got caught up on Blood+ enough to start on the 2nd half of the series. I have 15 episodes of that to watch before it's all done. Anime is most definitely a good escape from all the lack of energy, lack of ambition, and work issues going on.
Also one other little note I have to throw out there - one of my friends is expecting her second kid. She was due the end of March but the baby's in position already and her doctor said anywhere between now and mid-March she thinks the baby will come. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her the baby waits at least the 2 weeks his mommy is hoping so he'll be listed as a full term kiddo :)
And the final note - I have the complete series of Daria preordered through Amazon. Bring on May 11th baby, it'll be marathon time.
