Updates and stuff
Well, Liev didn't win for the Scream 2009 Awards Best Villian. Which isn't shocking. The thing that did shock me was watching the awards on tv and the fact the tv broadcast didn't even LIST Liev as one of the people up for voting. Talk about fucking rude. He's listed on their website, you could vote for him, but apparently he wasn't worth showing on tv so other people knew he was nominated. Just wow. I'm really disappointed in the award program....
In other news I only have two more days left at my current job, well, two more days where I'm there like I have been since February. I'm still going to be working at my current job, just less :) Right now I'm still not very thrilled for the new job to start but I'm hoping after training is over I'll be happier. I'm trying to ignore the fact I'll missing two weeks of class, keep telling myself I'll get to go to Kim Addonizio (I've been assured since the day she's here I was supposed to be in training past 5...her reading is at 4), and I'm praying the weather will be good for my commute each day. But yeah...*crosses fingers*
Tonight after I got home from work I finished reading Fruits Basket. I would have liked to have seen a second season of the anime I think to actually do some of the storylines the books did. But at least I have the books to fill in that gap.
Got a lot of goodies in the mail today, got the US release of the xxxHolic Guide, xxxHolic Vol 14, Tsubasa Vol 23 & 24, Dance in the Vampire Bund Vol 5, and the Death Note Re-Light Vol 2 DVD. Not bad, not bad. I think the worst thing I learned over this last year was the preorder function on Amazon's website *face palm* I'm almost done with Zombie-Loan Vol 7...not sure what I'm going to read next. I might start reading Nana since I bought the first few volumes of that when my Aunt was here...but I might read xxxHolic for my boys *hearts*
Halloween this coming Saturday. Oddly enough it snowed here in town today. Blah. But at least right now it looks like I might have someone to chill with Halloween night.
But I think that's it for me for now. Hope everyone's week is going okay.
