Slight Friday annoyances
Well my first day of my four day weekend is pretty much over. And I have to say for the most part I was rather unproductive. I met a friend for lunch and bought myself a slurpee on the way home (since it was 85 degrees here) and read a few manga. But today also came with some annoyances I wasn't expecting.
Like going to the pharmacy and getting told the perscription my doctor said should be $10 is actually well over $100, the one I wasn't sure on being $85. Needless to say I told the pharmacy I have to talk to my doctor before I'd give them almost $200 for two perscriptions that will only last me a month. Although on the same note the person helping me at the pharmacy was a bitch and made me more aggrivated. Granted at this point I think my mom is more annoyed then I am because she put me on their perscription plan to avoid this. And it's funny...I hear on the news how you can't avoid taking things you need yet no one understands why people under-medicate in the US. Hello? Might I mention that perscription that's onwards of $100 is for a NASAL SPRAY - not even a friggin pill.
Or finally going online to see why the magazine subscription I have isn't showing up anymore. Apparently the company that owned the magazine pulled the plug on it and the April issue is the last one. Would have been nice had I been notified or something, you know, considering I bought a year subscription in August...so yeah, kinda short on the fulfillment to my subscription :P
On a few other random notes: We also had a pretty unexpected thunder and lightening rain storm. I don't mind them, actually love rain storms (not always a fan of the thunder & lightening considering where I live) but some of the kitties weren't too happy. And it rained probably for at least an hour. We need the water here so yay for that.
A major yay for today is I won an E Bay lot of X/1999 manga *g* So I'll be getting volumes 1-16 for an extremely good price and will only have to get volumes 17 & 18 to have all the ones that are out. Not bad, not bad :)
But yeah, that's about it for today. Hopefully tomorrow won't have the little annoyances.
