OMG tired
So I spent a good deal of yesterday working on my room. My dad put together this new tv/entertainment stand we bought on Saturday and I worked on moving things from the old entertainment center I had over to the new one. And just more general "I'm changing my room" stuff.
Well today with it being a holiday I had the day off, my mom had a half day. We went out to a nice lunch, then went to go get an idea of what I want on beds. And ended up buying one XD We got a really good deal on a queen size bed, originally I was going to upgrade my twin to a full, but we got the queen for $50 more then the full and for under the cost it would have been to buy the full (the sales guy gave us a great discount). Included in the price is a free frame (no head board/foot board but I don't really want them), free delivery (it's coming Saturday while I'm at work), and free removal of the old mattress and box springs (we just have to get rid of my old frame). So happy yay! After leaving the store we went to Walmart to get some sheets for it.
So where does that leave everything? Well...massive cleaning XD Now that I have a deadline we kind of had to work our butts off. My parents both helped me today and we got the two pieces of furinature I really wanted out of my room out, got my current bed moved to the position that I want the new bed in. Did a lot of measuring to see where things would end up now that I'm getting a bigger bed then originally planned. And I threw out a bunch of shit. Tomorrow after we're all home my dad wants to put together the new bookcase I got while we have to extra room and get that put up. So it'll be more cleaning tomorrow but I know it'll be worth it. Once all of this busy work is done then I can finish taking posters off my walls and figure out how I want to redecorate. And I think after it's all said and done I'll treat myself to that new tv and dvd player I've been thinking about :)
