I have quite a few announcements to make today. So, I hope I can keep your attention.

Cafe Alpha has been closed for some time now. Even without so many troubles happening recently, I still haven't enough help to keep it open regularly. I'm not asking for much of anyone's time, just a few hours. It's a good way to learn something new or meet new ( Read more... )

Ah, I wasn't aware you had another name.

When you say you're alright now do you mean your transformation is under control or were you "cured?"

I'd been injected with an extreme dose of Vampire Bat DNA, causing me to mutate. It was about as fun as it sounds.

Back home there are people called Splicers... They manipulate their own DNA with the DNA of animals to change their look as well as their abilities. I was trying to put a stop to it when I was captured and injected with Vampire Bat DNA.

I managed to stop the guy who started the fad, but the fad itself is still around.

That sounds similar to a curse of some kind. It's hard to imagine it's possible without magic, but I suppose it is.

I'm sorry to hear that. However, I'm glad you're alright now. It's a good thing that you turning into a giant bat monster it's not going to be an issue. Without sensei, I would have no real way to cure you.

One of the undead I fought here was that same beast I turned into. It was a nightmare I didn't want to relive, that's for certain.
