[Cube comes on screen, he fumbles with a strange cane/flute with red wings surrounding what appears to be an eyeball on the end for a bit. His voice has a nervous edge to it.]

Ah, Gakupo-san... I-I think I'm ready t-to play. I hope you and others enjoy it. I-I've not played for very long, but I hope it will be alright.

[Cube blushes and bows his head lightly]

T-Thank you, Japan-san.

It's not... as well as I remember it b-but I will continue practicing until I have perfected it.

I quite enjoy that instrument... [The melody was a little sad though...]

I am certain you will improve quickly.

A-Are you familiar with it? [He looks the black flute up and down before tracing his fingers over the small holes.]

Thank you. I'll do my best when I have the time to spare. I wish I knew how to play from music, though.

I am familiar with flutes and other such instruments, though that one appears quite different.

Ah, but perhaps someone could teach you.

I-it was Saburo-san's and it was left behind when he returned home. I've been holding onto it since. I wasn't aware it was even a flute until recently when I went to clean it. i thought it were a cane of some sort. It's quite long b-but most of it seems to be ornament.

Do you think someone would? I couldn't ask such a thing from anyone. I-I'd be afraid of letting them down.

If I had seen it in any other way, I would not have thought it was an instrument, either. Ah, but there is something interesting about it...

Cube-san should not be so worried. The idea of learning is to try your best. Ah, if failure occurs, that is how we learn, after all. You would not let them down, I am certain.

It reminds me of the demon world. I suppose that's why I felt inclined to play it.

You're right. Eirin-sensei said something very similar once to me.

Thank you for your encouragement, Japan-san.

Would you perhaps play for me sometime, if I let you borrow this flute?

[His turn to be embarrassed...]

Ah... Well, I suppose if you truly wished, I could try my best... But it has been quite some time, and I prefer other instruments for playing...

I-I would be honored if you played.

What other instruments are you skilled in?

[Oh Japan apparently likes to play the ryuteki but it gives him lower back pain...

...I have played various things, but I am not sure if I would say I am skilled... Ah, I enjoy taiko...

I-I don't believe I'm familiar with that instrument. What is it like?

Uwahhh, it is a drum. Cube-san has not seen one? [MAKES PLAYING MOTIONS]

I enjoy playing it at Obon festivals.

P-Perhaps I have but did not know it's name.

[he fidgets, embarrassed that he still doesn't know for sure what japan is talking about but assumes.]

I have only been to few festivals with the Master and Mistress. Usually I followed along in my other form to keep watch, n-nothing more.

[He has participated in Japanese festivals but only when the mistress were younger]
