[The video spins and the scraping sound of asphalt can be heard as it does just that. Pointing up at the dark sky, it's hard to see anything, except there is some bright light coming from somewhere as one can see it being reflected off the surrounding buildings.

Then the ground shakes and the communicator slides once again, but this time it snags

[He's a little too busy to respond but the fire explosions can probably be seen from the office building...

but from the communicator one can just barely see cube in the sky, casting a wave of fire at the seemingly-never-ending void of hands]

*she's gonna grab her moon rifle and try to find you*

[Should be simple for her since its... literally across the street from the office building.

One of the hands, that was set on fire is chasing Cube around in the air]

*Reisen barely hesitated. She lifted up her rifle, drawing a bead on one Soraoto's hands before pulling the trigger; sending a lance of energy flying at it*

[The hand barely flinched before recoiling with a horrible screech. It causes both parties to stop a moment...

Until Cube shoots another wall of fire at the black void.

Soraoto then turns half his attention trying to finding the source of energy while other half continues to occupy Cube's time]

*Reisen silently adjusted her aim, pulling the trigger to send out beam at another hand*

[More and more hands keep falling and recoiling...

Until they try to get Cube more fiercely than before... somehow seem to be getting quicker... or is is that the demon hands are panicking?]

*she'll continue picking off hands, careful to not hit Cube*

[It's really helping to slow Soraoto down. Even so, a hand somehow snags Cube and tosses him against a wall...

... Cube gets up, and sends a wave of fire at the ARMS near the black void to catch the arms on fire]

*she's going to try shooting at the void, since it seems like Cube is trying to concentrate his fire there*

[The hands make a strange noise, one might call a shriek and recoil back into the void as if watching many measuring tapes being called back to their holders. As soon as the last hand is swallowed in blackness, it seems the whole void itself disappears.

Cube steps towards where it was and kicks a rock near the ground in a "good riddance" sort-of way]

*Reisen slowly slings her rifle over her shoulder, making her way over to Cube*

Cube...? What was that about?

[loyal_cube]

[Cube is kneeling as Reisen approaches, catching his breath. He turns to Reisen and tries to smile.. but it's weak]

Reisen-san...

...

[He looks away]

Soraoto did something... I'm not sure what to think of him anymore.

... "something"...?

[Hes quiet for a bit, inspecting his arm... it's bruised... same as his jaw...]

... he failed but...
