todays news: God Shits on Elli (Again)
i went to 'infest' saturday night. it was pretty neat. i had an amazing migraine so i didnt do much moshing but i did climb a tree and i did get to hang out with Kevin and Darby and Steve and them. mike was there too working the door... it was a really good time. i even got pizza.
unfortunately the evening went down the tubes when i went to go home and discovered it was on fire. we even missed all the cool ! the firefighters were just finishing up when i ran up to the police tape. so i lost my house and i didnt even get to see the fire. i was a little bummed (here im being a little cynical on accoun'a the drama). anyway, they let us up a few hours later to check the place out, there wasnt much there really. i was able to grab the duffle bag of dirty laundry i had packed for the landromax trip i had had for sunday, so at least i have some clothing.
as for the shit that didnt make it: all my electronics, including my three month old laptop, my tv, my playstation, my autoclave. miraculously my camera was alright, so i got the chance to take a few photos of the place, and it made a useful flashlight for the trip back down what used to be the front stairs. my art portfolio was destroyed, and none of the critters made it. but my boots are alright and they look even more badass.
im alright. let me rephrase that- Im totally getting spoiled by my friends. im set for clothing for now, and i bought a pillow and towel and shit today so im all set for some serious couch surfing. ill put those pictures up as soon as i can replace the software and convince someone to let me load them onto their computer.
ill be at Darbys until wednesday or friday. im not sure where im going after that, but ill figure it out later. i just cant sleep right now so im venting.

when they let us back into the apartment im going to need people to volunteer some time to help John, Melinda and I wash down everything we can salvage from the place. so let me know if anyone is interested in helping out. i dont know when that will be though.
i only have a computer at work now, so all i can read is my email: doomwiggly@gmail.com or phone calls. i still have my cell phone. in the morning when i get to work im gonna compose a more polite email for friends and family who have no LJ. i havent really told many people yet.
Melinda Darby and i got really dirty and we gave ourselves war paint made out of ash and we danced around in the puddles in the street for a while, so it wasnt all bad. at least we had a little fun.
im going to try that sleep thing again now that ive vomited some of this out. i dont wany anyone to worry. we all know that ellis bounce real well. if anyone needs John or Melinda they're gonna be at Matts place for a few days and i have their #s if you want them. im sure they would really appreciate a phone call or an email from people. they like that kind of thing.
