Roadtrip to Mornington Peninsula

Apr 14, 2009 14:28

since Andy was here
and he didnt have a chance to go anywhere else but the city.
I just wanted to bring him out of the city
and allow him to have a feel of doing different things!
so that called for a ROADTRIP! hehe
was really excited and all.
though I've been to Mornington many times
but different company
just meant a new experience. hehe
so I didn't mind at all
plus we added a few new places
so it wasn't exactly doing the same things! hehe (:

first stop : Craft's Market at Mornington Race Course
which I loveeee. but didn't take photos
or buy anything
except for a block of blue cheese. haha
so go with our wine at home.
but I love markets.
just walking around and all.
so this was one stop i was really looking forward to! hehe

then we went to Sorrento. A place recommended by Aunty Lan.
it's a small town. and I do love small towns. hehe
this one was the one with the famous Vanilla Slice
which I was quite sad I didn't get to eat.
cause I was way too full after lunch =(

but we had a good lunch!
i really rem the name of the place.
but lunch was good and worth every penny
and distance. hehe

baby had a open steak sandwich.
and it was HUGE!
with like a huge piece of steak in the middle of the sandwich.
i would say almost 200g?
yeah. and was cooked to medium. which was awesome.
not too tough.
and it was with the lot.
egg, bacon, lettuce and all. good for a big eater like baby hehe

and I had the seafood crepes!
had a craving for crepes, pancakes and waffles. haha
so I couldnt say no to the crepes when I saw it.
and this was an entree size.
so it was just right for me.
though I was a bit too full after. haha
but was awesome. (:

then we wasted no time and headed straight to Sunnyridge
for the U-Pick strawberries
cause Beatrice and Andy never did that before.

but on the way there.
we went pass this Chapman's Point and Murray Lookout
which had an awesome view.
so we stopped to take photos! hehe

and they had fun! i hope (:
well they looked happy so that's good. hehe

after being in the sun for a while.
what was perfect was a nice huge Strawberry Temptation. haha

how awesome does that look? hehe
it has tonnes of fresh strawberries
with home-made strawberry icecream and sorbet.
the sorbet, in my opinion, was awesomee!
and was my favourite. hehe

i look weird here. hahaa.
but yes. hehe (:
probably just tired. but happy! haha

after a fulfilling dessert
we headed down to Brighton Beach to take HEAPS of photos. haha.
as usual. hehe

snapping as many couple-lovey shots of them as possible. hehe

and i was inspired by the photo Joe took of me and Baby a while back.

and wanted to snap shots similar to this. haha.
well. i tried hehe. when they didn't know I was shooting.
I snapped! hehe

mm.. haha. well. i did try yes? hehe

better shot yes? haha. (:

a shot with each of them with us (:

my baby observing one of the small houses. hehe

how cute is this! hehe (:

and then. we had the opportunity of viewing the sunset.
it was so beautiful.
and you can imagine how many photos i took. haha

how pretty yes? hehe

♥ us with the sunset. hehe (:

hehe i snapped this without them knowing. hehe
so sweet yea? looking at each other. ♥
plus the sunset.
awesome. (:

hehe one more shot. before the sunset was overrr.

and there it goes.. ♥

oh yes. and before this post ends.
and I know it's a bit late
but Happy Easter everyone!! (:
